Our beautiful island getaway is located on Cat Island in the Bahamas. Cat Island is located 130 miles southeast of Nassau and 300 miles from Ft. Lauderdale. The New Bight (MYCB) airstrip is the port of entry while the Hawk’s Nest Community boasts its own 3100’ private airstrip.
Hawk’s Nest Resort and Marina is a private pilot and fisherman’s paradise. This unique destination gives one an opportunity to see what the true Bahamas has to offer. Your plane is a few hundred feet from the hotel/ restaurant/bar/freshwater pool. If you own a boat, your vessel is positioned 100 yards from a 800 ft drop off, where true blue ocean meet the turquoise heavens of the shallows of the Bahamas, and sheltered safely in one of the nicest marinas in the Bahamas.
Cat Island has world-class fishing and offers some of the best diving and snorkeling. Hawk’s Nest Resort and Marina sponsors four fishing tournaments every year.
